Brendan Brandt is the founder and chief executive officer of The Brandt Group, Epsilon's parent. Brendan has successfully grown the firm from a one man shop to its current state, and has led the businesses through 8 acquisitions and divestitures in the last 3 years. At Epsilon, he is tasked with corporate strategy, business development, and client advisory.
Peter Shahram is an experienced business attorney with a focus on corporate structuring and diligence. Prior to joining Epsilon he was an associate at NewOak Capital and a project attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. He holds a B.A. in economics from Rutgers and a J.D. from Albany Law School.
David Cohen, CPA
David Cohen is a senior associate at Epsilon where he assists clients in financial diligence, modeling, and review. Prior to joining Epsilon, David was an investment accountant at Stark Investments. He holds a B.A. in finance from San Diego State University and a Masters in Taxation from the University of Wisconsin.
Bayasa Ren is a director at Epsilon where he assists clients on sell side and advisory engagements. Prior to joining Epsilon, Bayasa was most recently a Senior Manager at the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF), and was previously a Senior Research Officer at International Monetary Fund (IMF) with the debt and financial instruments division. Bayasa holds an M.A. in Policy Economics from Williams College and an MBA from University of Oxford Said Business School.
Senior Political Analyst
Eric Miller is a senior political analyst at Epsilon where he provides geopolitical research and insights into their impact on global M&A. Prior to joining Epsilon, Eric worked for the U.S. Department of State, Marine Corps University, and as a congressional analyst focused on an AFRICOM and EURCOM. He holds two Masters of Arts degrees in both international relations and diplomacy from New York University and the American Graduate School in Paris France.
Warren Breaux, CPA
Warren Breaux is a director at Epsilon where he assists clients in tax related diligence, and strategy. Prior to joining Epsilon, Warren worked as an Executive Director for international tax at EY. He holds a B.A. in accounting from Louisiana State University.
Ximena Vaca is a director at Epsilon where she assists clients on sell side and advisory engagements. Prior to joining Epsilon, Ximena was Chief Executive Officer at Sierra Morena Development Co, and was previously a Senior Vice President at FBR Capital Markets. Andrea Lang is a director at Epsilon where she assists clients in strategic diligence, and planning. Prior to joining Epsilon, Andrea was a Principal at Aon Hewitt. She holds a B.B.A. in Economics from Stephen F. Austin and an MBA from Rice University.
Leah Jennings is a Vice President and the Managing Partner's Chief of Staff at Epsilon where she provides operational and strategic support and leadership to both clients and internal staff. Prior to joining Epsilon, Leah worked as an Client Specialist at Baird. She holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from Virginia Tech University as well as Serires 7 securities license.
Vivek Nair, Esq.
Vivek Nair is a seasoned global markets professional who is tasked with growing Epsilon's network and developing the firm's partnerships around the world. Prior to joining Epsilon, he worked as a member of General Motor's legal team and as a Senior Consultant for Navigant. Vivek obtained his MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, his JD from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, and his BA in Economics and Business from Kalamazoo College. Vivek is a licensed attorney in Michigan.
Baruch Esparza is an accomplished M&A executive with a successful track record of leading deals globally. At Epsilon, he is tasked with heading the global industrials group, handling transactions in the manufacturing, chemicals, mining, and materials working group. Prior to joining Epsilon he held executive level corporate development positions and Lehigh Hanson, Walmart, Iron Mountain, and Briggs Equipment. A native Spanish speaker, Baruch is quadrilingual. Fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Technology Institute of Monterrey and an MBA from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business.
Jack Kaplan is a director at Epsilon where he assists clients on sell side and advisory engagements.Jack received his MBA from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary in Virginia.
Prior to pursuing his MBA, Jack worked for Accenture Federal Services for 5 years as a Management Consultant in the government consulting marketplace in Washington, D.C.
Jack also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Tech.
